If your cue is miscuing, the tip is worn down, or the ferrule looks beat up, this is the fix.
South Shore Cues provides clean cue tip replacement and light cue repair for home players, league players, and busy house cues.
This is especially common for home pool tables where cues haven’t had tips replaced in years, and for bars where house cues take a lot of abuse.
A fresh tip and a properly prepped install makes the cue feel consistent again.

FAQs
How do I know if my cue tip needs replacement?
If you’re miscuing more than usual, the tip is hard and glossy, the edges are mushrooming, or the tip is worn down close to the ferrule, it’s time.
Do you replace tips on house cues and bar cues?
Yes. House cues are a big part of what I work on and the process is built for repeatable, consistent results.
Can I choose the type of tip?
Yes. If you already know what you want, I can install it. If not, I can recommend an option based on how the cue is used.
Do you fix ferrules too?
I’ll inspect the ferrule and clean/polish it as part of tip replacement. If the ferrule is cracked or damaged, I’ll recommend the appropriate repair.
How long does it take?
Typical turnaround is 2–3 days depending on volume and what the cue needs.
Do you do on-site service?
Most work is done off-site for quality control. If you’re a venue/operator and need recurring service, ask about Cue Fleet Service™.
